The UK Prime Minister will push supporting countries to provide Ukrainian forces with further advanced missile systems to hit Moscow's positions during talks in London on Friday.

Sir Keir plans to receive Ukraine's leader Zelensky alongside what's known as "coalition of the willing", including more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have committed to grant the Ukrainian government defense assurances once fighting stops is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been urging for weeks for additional extended-range systems from allied countries, a move that the Russian government has cautions would intensify the hostilities.

The Ukrainian president is journeying from Belgium, where he met European Union officials on yesterday requesting financial support.

"The sole individual involved in the ongoing war who refuses to stop the fighting is Vladimir Putin," the Prime Minister stated.

Britain's leader will also reveal that one hundred extra air defence missiles will be delivered to Kyiv sooner than scheduled, as outlined in a substantial financial arrangement concluded between the UK and Ukraine in last spring.

Sir Keir will press participants to ramp up the supply of advanced missile technology following an effective attack on a manufacturing site in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered advanced weaponry.

"Furthermore, his brutal strikes on young children in a daycare recently show that crystal clear," he added.

A pair of children were part of a minimum of seven fatally wounded in multiple Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory, which targeted a nursery in the major urban center Kharkiv.

Financial Discussions

Sir Keir will discuss with supporting countries on methods to withdraw Russia's petroleum resources from international trade.

They will furthermore consider using seized Moscow funds to provide Ukraine with monetary support, though the proposal experienced divided opinions and jurisdictional challenges at the EU conference on the previous day.

European Union stopped short of consenting an initiative to use approximately €140 billion in blocked Moscow funds to economically support Kyiv's finances.

Nevertheless, the delegates consented to help support Kyiv's "financial needs" for the upcoming biennium.

United States also disclosed restrictions on recently against the Russian major oil companies, Rosneft Oil and the private firm, as element of actions to apply financial pressure on the Kremlin to begin peace talks.

Moscow initiated its comprehensive attack of Ukraine in early 2022. The invading forces at this time occupies about one-fifth of Ukrainian territory, encompassing the southern Crimea peninsular Moscow annexed in the year 2014.
